Welcoming Daniel Garcia!
July 11, 2018 | Jeff Hallman
Hi, my name is Daniel Garcia. The point of my introduction is you may see me hosting one of the weekend open houses put on thru AGENT509 | Homes & Equity R.E. Group or you may get a friendly call from me checking in to see if there is anything we can assist you with. A little about me. I am 20 years old and I am going into my Junior Year at Eastern Washington University. I am pursuing a BA in Business Administration. One thing to note is I did a study abroad program in Costa Rica this year and really enjoyed meeting new people and learning a new culture. Towards the end of my spring quarter I was seeking for an internship. I wanted to be around businessmen that could help me learn what I am studying at college. I want to learn and see material that I wouldn’t see in a classroom, so I decided to reach out to friends and family to see if anyone could help me. I got a call back one day and was told about a summer internship opportunity in the real estate fieldat AGENT509 through Jeff’s good friend Edwin Eaton, who is also my cousin. When he told me there might be a possibility of a position, I instantly jumped on it and asked “Where do I start? What should I do next to take action?” The first thing I was told to do was to give Jeff a call. I did as I was told and next thing you know, the very next day, surprisingly, we set up a in late afternoon meeting at a Starbucks in Spokane, as AGENT509 was in town taking a class. After our interview I found out I got the job. I have learned at a really young age that if you want to get somewhere in life you need to be a go-getter. Being someone who isn’t afraid to put themselves in positions where you might feel like you don’t belong, you will learn very quickly that you will be looked over. You will be told ‘No’, you’ll be looked over, and you will constantly find yourself starting over in this game of life. I have learned and experienced that you will never know what kind of doors you open for yourself unless you take risks. No matter how many times you get shut down or looked over you should always keep your standards high and work hard for what you want. I much appreciate you reading this and one day look forward to meeting you in person.
