The travels of my job take to me some very beautiful places, this photo was taken by me some 300' above the Wenatchee River yesterday evening looking West at the Enchantments.  Spent the day with a nice family looking to get into the local orchard industry...we went from cherry orchards to pear orchards - the one element of growing pears is the learning curve is much flatter to create a stable income, but the money to get into that stability is usually higher.  Washington State is the leading fresh pear and cherry provider - and the support that growers have is unmatched anywhere - from Washington State University Extension and Research, to professional field consultants, to lending institutions, and to a work force that is generational in the knowledge to make this all work.  Washington State is a special place, life is good.
