A lot of news in the papers and online has been said about  Seattle has been leading the nation in home appreciation, as measured by the Case-Shiller home price index. But a separate home-price index released by the government this Tuesday, which covers all metro areas, showed Washington has 5 of the 9 hottest housing markets in the country, in the 4th quarter of 2017.  Wenatchee registered 12% appreciation at the 4th quarter rate according to the Federal Housing Finance Agency. The reason is there are fewer and fewer homes for sale, coupled by a rising demand. From my perspective work with an agent like myself who focuses on buying your home or real estate investment, where I can combine my experience and understanding to help navigate you through the ever more complicated process.
